MusicArte Ensemble

 

 “The New Notes” orchestra is composed of about 15 elements (age about 9-19). It has held numerous concerts in Florence, Pistoia, Prato and in some hospitals performing music for patients in Oncology departments; in 2012 it has participated to the international Allegro Mosso festival (promoted by EMU and AIdSM) that for the first time was held in Italy and it was attended by about 6000 young people coming from the European music schools. “The New Notes” orchestra held concerts for several years in the Basilica of San Lorenzo in Florence as part of the Concerts promoted by the AIdSM.
Recently in 2016 it was formed the MusicArte Ensemble (consisting of 6 violins, 2 cellos, 1 contrabass, 2 flutes, 1 harp, 1 horn and 1 piano; age 12-20) that has participated to the E-Musik Festival in San Sebastian (Spain) holding two concerts in Tafalla and Olite (in Navarra) in 2016. In 2017 it held a concert at the Relais Santa Croce in Florence, at the Giotto Theater in Vicchio and has participated in an exchange with the Erkel Ferenc School in Budapest where it held a concert at the municipal hall. In December 2017 it held the Christmas Concert at the Cassa di Risparmio of Florence’s Auditorium. The Musicarte Ensemble will participate at The Watergate XIII Youth Music Festival in Sneek. The Musicarte Ensemble is conducted by Stefania Di Blasio; collaborators: Valentina Morini and Giovannella Berardengo.
